Cupertino, CA, United States of America (Hybrid)

We are looking for a strategic and driven Product Manager in Retail Technology to help shape the future of how one of our key global clients helps serve their business customers, on-site in Cupertino, CA. In this role, you will be embedded with our client’s team and own the strategy and execution of their small-to-medium-sized business (SMB) initiatives.

This group powers the tools and systems used across thousands of retail stores worldwide, transforming how employees engage with customers and deliver exceptional service. You’ll be part of a diverse and supportive team, collaborating with Engineering, Merchandising, Operations, Online, and Marketing to bring our client’s vision of world-class retail to life.

Key Responsibilites:

  • Guide the creation of end-to-end SMB technology solutions, from initial engagement in-store or online, through to post-sale support and relationship management.

  • Shape and maintain the roadmap for systems such as CRM, order management, and customer communication platforms, ensuring alignment with client objectives, user needs, and engineering priorities.

  • Oversee execution from concept to release, coordinating schedules, budgets, and dependencies, while resolving issues and upholding quality standards.

  • Partner closely with client business stakeholders, engineers, and design teams to lead reviews, prioritize features, negotiate scope, and ensure on-time delivery with measurable business impact.

  • Translate business requirements into clear documentation including epics, user stories, and technical direction for design and engineering teams.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the client’s business technology ecosystem, identifying interdependencies and opportunities for innovation.

  • Be open to travel on an as-needed basis (up to 15%, domestic and international) to meet with store teams and end users, ensuring solutions are grounded in real-world needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of partnering with business stakeholders to clarify problems, uncover process and user experience improvement opportunities, and ensure business needs are represented during technology design and development.

  • Hands-on experience defining product requirements for CRM solutions (e.g. Salesforce), including capabilities such as lead management, opportunity tracking, and comprehensive customer views.

  • Working knowledge of ERP platforms (e.g. SAP) and the order-to-cash lifecycle, with specific exposure to quoting, purchasing, and invoicing processes.

  • Familiarity with enterprise tools that support business operations, such as Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms and contact center/telephony solutions (e.g. Genesys) that enable customer-facing specialists.

  • Demonstrated ability to craft detailed business requirements and user stories for engineering and UI/UX teams, with a strong history of delivering B2B or enterprise-grade products.

  • Experience collaborating with engineering partners to address technical debt, adopt new technologies, and support platform migrations within large-scale enterprise environments.

  • Background in leading complex technology initiatives from planning through delivery, successfully guiding teams through uncertainty and driving resolution of issues across the full project lifecycle.

  • Strong facilitation skills, excellent written/verbal communication, and the ability to present technical concepts clearly to business and executive stakeholders.

  • Deep familiarity with Agile methodologies, including proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for backlog management, epic/story definition, and writing acceptance criteria.

  • 5+ years of experience in product or technology management, ideally within B2B, retail, or enterprise systems contexts.
